Frequently asked questions

What is a .msg file?

A .msg file is a single email saved by Microsoft Outlook, including the message body, sender and recipients, and any attachments. They're common in business email but most phones can't open them — msg Lense can.

Does it open .eml files too?

Yes. msg Lense reads standard .eml emails exported from Apple Mail, Gmail, Thunderbird, and most other mail clients, alongside Outlook .msg files.

Are my emails uploaded anywhere?

No. msg Lense parses files entirely on your device. There are no servers, accounts, or analytics, and your messages are never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What do I get with a subscription?

A subscription unlocks unlimited message viewing along with opening and saving attachments, printing, replying, and forwarding. Subscriptions are available through the App Store.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and manage msg Lense there. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the period ends.
